to install a drop kerb. This can be obtained from
your local planning office along with a fee. This
is usually £75.
It is possible that an application
under the Road and Street Works act will be required.
 You
will then need to hire a licenced contractor to
undertake the work. As this involves working on
the public highway, the appropriate signs and
possibly traffic lights will be required during
the course of the work.
